Was John Blaisdell Corliss a master mason?

John Blaisdell Corliss was a Master Mason, having been made a Mason in Union Lodge of Detroit in 1880.

His Masonic progression spanned multiple Orders. In the Craft, his entry through Union Lodge established his standing as a Master Mason, which served as the prerequisite for advancement into the appendant bodies. In the York Rite, he completed the degrees of the Capitular and Chivalric branches, becoming a Chapter and Commandery Mason over the five years following his initiation.

In the Scottish Rite, he attained the 32nd degree and served as Commander-in-Chief of the Michigan Sovereign Consistory from 1887 to 1892. He was awarded the 33rd degree of the Scottish Rite in 1890.
