How is a Regional Grand Master elected?
The appointment of a Regional Grand Master is a prerogative of the Grand Master, who grants a patent to any Brother deemed worthy for the appointment. The term of office for a Regional Grand Master is three years, beginning on the date of installation at the third Annual Meeting of the Regional Grand Lodge following his installation. It is noted that no Regional Grand Master or Past Regional Grand Master is eligible for reappointment. The Regional Grand Master is required to be installed at the first Regional Grand Lodge meeting held after this appointment to perform functions of the office, except for summoning the lodge for installation purposes. Additionally, if there are any contingencies like death or resignation, the Deputy or Assistant Regional Grand Master will exercise the function until the next appointee is assigned.
