If I demit from the mother lodge and then have no lodges where I have membership, can I still visit other lodges, and what is the process of visiting other lodge since I won't have any lodge membership?
As per the Constitution of the Grand Lodge of Antient, Free & Accepted Masons of India, if you have demitted from your mother lodge and do not hold membership in any other lodge, you will not be permitted to attend any daughter Lodge until you again become a subscribing member of a daughter Lodge. Specifically, Rule 106 states that a Brother who has ceased to be a subscribing member of every daughter Lodge cannot attend any daughter Lodge until he regains membership in a daughter Lodge.
However, if you are a Master Mason and wish to visit a lodge, you may be allowed to attend one daughter Lodge only once, but you must append the word 'unattached' to your signature in the attendance book, indicating your status. This is outlined in Rule 106(b).
To regain membership and be able to visit lodges freely, you would need to apply for membership in a daughter Lodge, which involves being proposed and seconded at a regular meeting, followed by a ballot for your admission as per Rule 138.
