What are the degrees in Operative Masonry?

Operative Masonry, as described in the Operatives Society, consists of seven degrees or grades. These are:

  1. Iº Indentured Apprentice
  2. IIº Fellow of the Craft
  3. IIIº Fitter and Marker
  4. IVº Setter Erector
  5. Vº Intendent, Overseer, Super Intendent and Warden
  6. VIº Passed Master
  7. VIIº Master Mason and Grand Master Honoris Causa

To progress through these degrees, members must meet specific criteria, including regular attendance and service periods, and must be Master Masons, Mark Master Masons, or Royal Arch Companions in good standing.
