What are the responsibilities of the Master of a Lodge?
The Master of a Lodge holds various important responsibilities, including:
- Being responsible for the due observance of the laws by the daughter Lodge over which he presides (Rule 94).
- Upon his installation, the Master shall appoint his Wardens and other Officers and shall invest all the Officers, including the Treasurer and Tyler elected (Rule 96).
- Ensuring that all brethrens summoned attend the Lodge meetings and properly oversee the conduct of lodge business (Rule 97).
- Having the authority to lay complaints about the conduct of any Officers before the Lodge and the power to displace such officers when complaints are well-founded (Rule 99).
- Managing and presiding over Lodge meetings and activities, ensuring they follow established regulations and customs (Rule 92).
