What is the procedure to summon an emergency meeting?

An emergency meeting of a Lodge may be convened by obtaining a dispensation from the Regional Grand Master. It may be called by the authority of the Master; or if he is not available, by the Immediate Past Master, Senior Warden, or Junior Warden in that order of availability. The business that can be transacted during such meetings is restricted to what is outlined in the dispensation and printed on the summons for the meeting. Furthermore, minutes of any previous meetings shall not be read or confirmed unless they directly pertain to the business concerning the meeting at hand.

It is crucial to note that no business reserved for regular meetings as per the Rules can be conducted during an emergency meeting.
